Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our construction . The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and excellent customer service skills. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint ,and ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools with precision.
- Perform residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial painting tasks across various environments.
- Use carpentry skills for minor repairs or modifications needed before painting begins.
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed during projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project expectations are met or exceeded.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of work zones while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and carpentry basics.
- Strong understanding of caulking techniques and surface preparation methods.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Time management skills to complete projects efficiently within deadlines.
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients’ needs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse settings. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety standards while delivering exceptional results on every project.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
