Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sterilization Technician to join our dental practice. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our dental instruments and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in dental assisting or receptionist roles who is looking to contribute to the smooth operation of a dental practice.
Duties:
– Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols
– Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits by ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available
– Assist dental professionals with instrument setup and breakdown during procedures
– Maintain inventory and stocking of dental supplies
– Follow infection control guidelines and maintain a clean and organized sterilization area
– Assist with other tasks as assigned by the dental team
Skills:
– Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is a plus
– Understanding of dentistry is a plus
