THE COMPANY
MCA is a leading Canadian Merchandising Company providing services to Retailers and Consumer Packaged Goods companies across Canada. We specialize in merchandising, sales, price collection, retail audits, retail store renovations, and more.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Work alongside a team of experienced retail professionals to support our clients and partners through a store renovation inJoliette, QC. Gain valuable renovation experience and be part of new and exciting projects throughout the year.
WAGE: $20 – $25 per hour : Full-Time (40 Hours per week)
SHIFTS: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
DATES: June 3rd to November 21st 2024
BONUS: Project Completion Bonus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a crucial part of our Retail Services unit, you will work closely with our Team Leads as part of the Merchandising or Fixture Installation team. Your responsibilities will include:
Merchandising:
Resetting store departments according to planograms
Building several different endcaps and retail displays
Installing new price tags and signage throughout the store
Fixture Building:
Safely receiving and unloading retail store fixture shipments
Deconstructing, moving, and building/placing retail store fixtures
Utilizing hand and construction tools effectively
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy working collaboratively. The ideal candidates should possess a strong work ethic and dependability, be self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team. Additionally, candidates should be organized and maintain a professional and calm demeanor.
The Ideal Merchandiser:
At least one year of merchandising and planogram experience
Experience working in a grocery or drug store environment is preferred
Previous experience working with planograms in a big box store is an asset
The Ideal Fixture Builder:
At least one year experience building fixtures in a big box retailer
Previous experience with a variety of hand and construction tools is essential
Physically fit, able to lift up to 40lbs, and perform continuous standing, bending, reaching, and lifting for long periods
