EyeQ Optical is a small locally owned office with a close knit staff where we perform eye exams and sell glasses.We are looking for someone to work alongside our doctor using dedicated equipment to test and monitor the vision and health of the eyes. Don’t have the experience? That’s ok, we will train you!
Main roles and responsibilities:
- Open and close exam rooms at beginning and end of shift.
- Perform testing for patients and facilitate handoffs to the doctor.
- Assist with additional tasks the doctor may need.
- Basic cleaning of exam rooms in between appointments.
- Record result in patient’s chart to complete visit summary.
- Receive and check in contact lens orders.
- Maintain stock and organization for contact lens storage room.
- Train first time contact lens wearers.
Additional tasks outside of main role:
- Assist front desk staff with office cleaning duties.
- Call patients to confirm the next day’s appointments.
- Manage incoming and outgoing faxes.
- Answer phone calls.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer literacy and math skills.
- Strong communication skills and quick learner.
Schedule:
- Full Time:
- Monday-Friday( Day shift)
- Weekends OFF
- Main Holidays OFF
