Job duties:
****This position in office sessions are in Spruce Grove and home based sessions are in Spruce Grove, Edmonton & surrounding.
- Assess patients’ abilities, limitations, and goals
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Help patients improve daily living skills such as dressing, eating, writing, or working
- Teach use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, teachers, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate families and caregivers on treatment techniques and support strategies
Requirements:
- Eligibility for registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapy
- Drivers license
- Hands-on experience working with neurodivergent youth
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Pay: From $110.00 per hour
