Job Summary
We are looking for morning line/ prep cook. Hours are 9am-4pm. 35-40 hours a week available. Weekends are mandatory to work. Previous experience required

  • Prepare and cook menu items efficiently and accurately according to established recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices
  • Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking

Requirements

  • Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is preferred but not required; a strong interest in culinary arts is essential
  • Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety standards
  • Fine dining experience or restaurant experience is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in food industry techniques
  • Ability to work early morning shifts with energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong understanding of kitchen safety protocols and sanitation practices
