Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Montessori Teachers to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children, including those with special needs or disabilities. This role involves creating a nurturing learning environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and academic growth through Montessori principles. The Montessori Teacher will be responsible for designing engaging lessons, managing classroom activities, and supporting students’ individual development across various subjects.
Duties
- Develop and implement Montessori-based lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, focusing on areas such as math, writing, and general early childhood education in english and french
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and instructional design techniques to create interactive and effective learning experiences.
- Support students with diverse learning needs, including individuals with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social development.
- Assess student progress regularly through observations and assessments, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Incorporate tutoring strategies to reinforce learning concepts and address individual student challenges.
- Maintain organized records of student achievements and instructional plans in compliance with educational standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching methods and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within early childhood or elementary education.
- Classroom experience utilizing Montessori methods is highly desirable.
- Background in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Proficiency in LMS platforms and instructional design tools to enhance lesson delivery.
- Strong communication skills essential for engaging students, parents, and team members effectively.
- Experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
- Knowledge of math, writing skills, and curriculum development to support comprehensive student growth.
