Full job description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to blueprints and specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
– Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
– Measure and mark dimensions on metal using rulers, calipers, and other measuring instruments
– Operate cranes or other lifting equipment to move large pieces of metal
– Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
– Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
Skills:
– Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
– Basic math skills for measuring and marking dimensions accurately
– Familiarity with ductwork fabrication is a plus
– Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
– Strong problem-solving skills
– Able to use computers and smartphones for accessing emails and communication applications.
