Job Summary:
CV Family Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Office Assistant to join our team in Mississauga, ON. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls, scheduling patients.
Receiving patients, taking and recording vitals in EMR.
Preparing vaccines, documenting in EMR, ordering vaccines
Must be trained to give shots/injections.
Scanning, faxing, emailing documents as required
Patients communications, calling, advising patients as advised
Sending referral, following up on referrals
Third party billing, generating invoices, faxing, mailing documents to insurances/ lawyers
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Experience/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in healthcare industry is required
Strong communication skills.
English proficiency in speaking, writing is mandatory
Accuro EMR
Two references required

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
