Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Canada (Relocation Support Available)

We are seeking a driven Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for supervising unionized trades personnel and coordinating external contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance. You will play a key role in maximizing equipment uptime, controlling maintenance costs, and supporting overall production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a unionized maintenance team and contractors, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

• Enforce compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, holding team members accountable to established standards

• Coordinate and execute preventive and routine maintenance activities in collaboration with operations and planning teams

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, cost reduction, and production performance

• Mentor, coach, and develop team members through active engagement, observation, and feedback

• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all maintenance activities

Qualifications:

• Red Seal trade certification OR mechanical engineering diploma/degree, AND minimum 2+ years supervising trades in a unionized industrial setting

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams

• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a high-demand environment

• Highly organized with strong planning, delegation, and problem-solving abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with CMMS systems

• Legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application
