HD Mechanic Helper / Apprentice Mechanic
About Us:
Quantum Equipment is a growing logistics and heavy equipment company specializing in heavy machinery solutions, crane services, machinery relocation, site equipment rentals, and transportation across Canada.
We are looking for a Mechanic Helper / Apprentice Mechanic to support our Heavy Duty Mechanics with the maintenance and repair of our fleet.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Heavy Duty Mechanics with inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, cranes, and other heavy equipment
- Help diagnose mechanical issues and prepare equipment for repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Complete general shop duties and assist wherever needed
Qualifications
- Previous mechanical experience is an asset
- Registered Heavy Duty Mechanic apprentice is an asset but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Experience working with trucks, trailers, cranes, or heavy equipment is an asset
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required (higher class is an asset)
