Franklin Precision Castings is seeking a skilled 3rd shift Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience. This position is critical to maintaining production equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting smooth foundry operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain and optimize older and newer machinery
- Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and relocation
- Maintain maintenance records and parts inventory
- Follow all safety protocols
- Able to work independently
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- Industrial maintenance experience required
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Electrical, hydraulic, PLC, and HMI knowledge preferred
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Ability to work independently
- Valid Driver’s License required
