Job Summary
Seeking a personable, independent and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of our facilities and the equipment in an independent senior living development. Does not require a license in trades, just a general "Mr. or Mrs. Fix it" role. Responsible for performing general preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, with knowledge of general plumbing, electrical and basic residential construction and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), and electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
- Work with vendors to ensure top performance.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and general equipment maintenance.
- Construction experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Pay: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour
