Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced, fast, and a go-getter, capable of handling a variety of maintenance calls on a regular basis. This role requires a versatile skill set to diagnose and resolve a wide range of issues in tenant properties efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to maintenance calls and perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in tenant properties, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure property safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with property managers and tenants to address and resolve maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, work performed, and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with tenants and property owners.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to handle after-hours emergencies if needed.
