BC Wood Products is an industrial manufacturer of custom wooden pallets and crates.
- Performs all assigned duties in a safe manner without posing a danger to self or others
- Follows verbal and posted safety rules at all time, including wearing the proper PPE for each task
- Willing and able to follow verbal instructions (in English or Spanish) from members of Management
- Performs dismantling tasks to include:
Operate bandsaw machine: pick up pallet and place on bandsaw machine to dismantle pallet and then repeats process on other side of pallet.
- Lifts 50 lbs or more repeatedly throughout 10-hour workdays
- Physical Demands:
· Constant (5-8 hrs/day): Standing, Bending, Stooping, Talking, Hearing, Reaching, Lifting & Moving, Carrying, Pushing or Pulling Objects
· Frequent (2-5 hrs/day): Walking, Kneeling
- The majority of this work is performed inside, but outside work will occasionally be required
- Other duties as assigned to them.
Pay: $13.50 – $16.00 per hour
