Full job description
PPC is currently recruiting forMachine Operatorsfor Night Shift 11pm-7am. These positions are considered full-time permanent.
POSITION FUNCTION:
To operate plastic injection molding machines to produce quality parts.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Receive verbal / written instructions from your supervisor and from the foreman
Responsible for packing plastic molded parts as per company quality procedures.
Visually check for quality defects.
Operate a grinding machine as required.
Required to restart molding machines after minor jam-ups are cleared.
Manual assembly as required.
Responsible to follow company policies and procedures.
Required to wear hairnets, safety glasses and gloves as per company policy.
Perform housekeeping and other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor and foreman.
Responsible for weighing parts as required.
Any other job duties as prescribed by supervisor for foreman.
Qualifications:
Communicate in English (verbal and written)
High School education or relevant injection molding operator experience
Ability to work alone or in a team environment
Flexibility to work any day of the week including overtime
Some lifting required
