Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Supervisor to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality food, supervising kitchen operations, and ensuring excellent service standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with the ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff. This position offers an opportunity to showcase culinary skills while overseeing daily kitchen activities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols
  • Oversee food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to maintain compliance with health regulations
  • Assist in meal preparation during busy periods and special events
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining presentation standards
  • Train new team members on food safety, cooking techniques, and restaurant procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate team members
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and management
  • Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
  • Serving experience is a plus, along with familiarity with restaurant operations and food industry best practices
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and sanitation standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
