Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, proper food handling, and excellent cooking techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold our restaurant’s standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook grilled items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper sanitation procedures at all times
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing excellent food service
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or needs
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially in a restaurant or kitchen setting
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation, especially grilling methods
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Kitchen experience within the food industry is highly desirable
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
