Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals following set recipes and menus in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Duties:
– Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
– Cook and plate dishes accurately and efficiently during service times
– Ensure food quality by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
– Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen
– Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
– Follow proper sanitation procedures and adhere to food safety regulations
Experience:
– Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
– Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen operations
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
– Familiarity with cooking techniques and equipment
– Understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures
