Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Irrigation Installation Foreman to oversee and actively participate in the installation of irrigation systems. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage crews while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise irrigation installation crews on job sites
- Plan, coordinate, and execute system installations from start to finish
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and irrigation designs
- Ensure proper installation of piping, valves, controllers, and system components
- Train and mentor crew members to maintain high performance and safety standards
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and team members effectively
- Maintain job site safety and compliance with all regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in the field
- Manage materials, equipment, and daily job reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years of irrigation installation experience (lead or foreman experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and installation techniques
- Proven leadership and crew management skills
- Ability to read plans and operate installation equipment
- Valid driver’s license (chauffeur or CDL is a plus)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial irrigation systems
- Knowledge of local codes and regulations
- Mechanical or plumbing background
