Position: Hardscape/Landscape Crew Lead/Foreman

Summary:
The Senior Crew Leader is responsible for leading and executing landscape installation projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed on time, on budget, and to TradesPeople quality standards while managing crew performance, jobsite efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
***This is a hands-on leadership role—you will both lead and work alongside your crew daily. ***
Essential Functions/Duties: Including but not limited to:
● Lead all aspects of landscape installation projects
● Read and execute project plans, proposals, and scope of work
● Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, correctly, and to spec
● Supervise and lead a crew of 2–5 team members
● Set the pace and expectations for daily production
● Delegate tasks clearly and hold team accountable
● Train and develop crew members on proper techniques and standards
● Maintain a professional, disciplined, and productive jobsite
● Catch and correct issues before leaving the jobsite
● Maintain clean, organized, and presentable job sites
● Protect customer property (no damage to turf, irrigation, structures, etc.)
● Manage materials, tools, and equipment on site
● Coordinate deliveries and staging of materials
● Track progress against estimated time and budget
● Communicate any issues, delays, or changes to management
● Operate trucks, trailers, and equipment safely
● Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and secured
● Perform daily checks on vehicles and equipment
● Represent the company professionally on every jobsite
● Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers when needed
● Ensure the customer experience matches the quality of the work
Basic Requirements & Qualifications: Including but not limited to:
● 2+ years experience in landscape installation or construction
● Proven experience leading a crew on job sites
● Strong knowledge of: ○ Plant installation ○ Grading and prep work ○ Sod installation ○ Basic landscape materials and techniques
● Ability to read and execute project scopes or plans
● Valid driver’s license
Experience with skid steer, mini skid, or similar equipment
● Experience with light hardscape work (pavers, edging, etc.)
● Bilingual (English/Spanish)
