Job Summary:
Restoration Landscapes is seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead to oversee and manage our maintenance team. This role is ideal for individuals with leadership skills who take pride in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The Crew Lead will be responsible for supervising crew members, ensuring routine maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, and maintaining high-quality service standards for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of landscape maintenance crew members
- Plan and oversee daily maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, pruning, and weeding
- Perform routine inspections to ensure landscapes are maintained to company standards
- Operate and ensure proper maintenance of landscape equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Enforce safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management
- Train and mentor crew members to enhance skills and efficiency
- Ensure maintenance schedules are followed and completed on time
- Maintain detailed records of work completed and report progress to management
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of landscape maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and direct team members effectively
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, tools, and equipment operation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
- Some travel may be required but less than 10% of total work time
