Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. This role involves various tasks related to landscape maintenance, hardscape and groundskeeping, ensuring that outdoor spaces are aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and possess skills in gardening, hardscape installation, and general landscape care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Conduct groundskeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas.
- Provide tree care services including pruning and removal as needed.
- Winter snow removal work
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Mechanical knowledge for operating landscaping tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to hardscape landscaping and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work outside in Alaska weather and do physical work
- A valid driver’s license may be required for some positions and you must have reliable transportation
- Able to pass a background check
