EcoSense Sustainable Landscapes is seeking a Landscape Construction Foreman to join our talented team. We specialize in building beautiful, resilient landscapes that harvest rainwater, utilize native plants, and attract wildlife.
We are working to redefine what a healthy and harmonious landscape should look like in the arid southwest, and we are also working to reshape the workforce in the landscape industry. That means that we offer competitive pay, 4-day work weeks (M-Th: work 9 hours, get paid for 10, Fridays off!!).
We are currently seeking a foreman to lead one of our Construction Teams. This will initially be a foreman-in-training position, shadowing one of our existing foreman. Anyone interested in the position needs to have 1 or more years experience as a landscape foreman. Necessary skills include: time management, ability to delegate and oversee tasks, driving a truck w/ trailer, operating a skid steer, installing backflows, soldering copper, building/installing irrigation manifolds, installing low-voltage systems, reading landscape plans, and familiarity with native plants. Additional skills – helpful but not necessary – include: welding, working with 120V, installing pumps, operating an excavator and/or backhoe, using a laser level, hardscape experience (pavers, flagstone).
Performance reviews are conducted quarterly, with quarterly raises offered for progression and improvement. At all times we encourage our Foremen to work smarter, not harder, because it’s a lot easier to use your brain than your back. Common sense is must, and safety always comes first!

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
