Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead and oversee landscape construction projects from start to finish. Duties
- Supervise daily operations on landscape construction sites, including installation of hardscapes, planting beds, sod/grading, drainage systems and other landscape features
- Coordinate and lead crews to complete projects on time, within scope, and according to quality standards
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
- Oversee the use of tools, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to clarify project specifications and address any issues promptly
- Conduct inspections of ongoing work to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations
- Provide mentorship and training to team members in landscaping techniques, maintenance practices, and safety procedures
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of supervising experience in landscape construction or related fields such as brick paving, drainage systems, and landscape installations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with tools and machinery used in landscaping and construction environments
- Must have minimum of 3 years experience in efficiently and safely operate skid steer loaders, track loaders, and excavators from 2-8 tons in size.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and vendors
- Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and adapt plans as needed for successful project completion
- Must have valid drivers license (CDL C or A is a plus)
- Must have experience driving trucks and trailers.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
