Labourer/Sorter Jobs in Fredericton at Capital Region Service Commission
Under the immediate supervision of the Recycle Supervisor and under the general supervision of the Site Superintendent, this position performs a variety of operational and maintenance activities related to the Solid Waste Division.
Specific Responsibilities
The following duties are representative of the duties of the position when fully functioning. They are not intended to represent the entire functional capacity of the position at the task level.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Inspect materials and sort items or materials into designated areas according to type
- Perform cleaning duties related to plant equipment and general housekeeping
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment while complying with company safety policies
Requirements for this position:
- Steel toed safety boots
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to perform physical requirements including standing, sitting, bending, etc.
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $18.00 per hour
