Full job description
Foremost Universal has an immediate opening for a Labourer located at our north facility in Lloydminster, AB
Responsibilities:
Assist workers
Shop clean up
Assist in paint shop with prepping materials
Stock parts on shelves and/or pick parts for jobs
Operate Overhead Crane in a safe manner
Follow current standards and procedures
Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor
Support inventory control with accurate documentation
Follow all workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations
Perform routine maintenance
General tasks that improve shop and yard flow and function
Performs other tasks related to his/her classification
Qualifications:
Previous experience in manufacturing
Previous experience with steel surface preparation
Able to perform repetitive heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs
Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
Safety Training an asset, but will train as required
This work is performed in a combination of environments and may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odours, fumes, oils and various temperatures.
Shift work may be required at times as well.
