Overview
We are seeking experienced masons and hardscaping laborers to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of masonry and hardscape projects, transforming outdoor and indoor spaces with skill, precision, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures using concrete, brick, stone, and other masonry materials with precision and efficiency
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications
- Prepare work sites by setting forms for concrete pouring and ensuring proper reinforcement with rebar installation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely to complete tasks effectively
- Perform finishing tasks such as concrete smoothing, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and tile laying to achieve a polished look
- Assist in renovation projects by restoring or updating existing structures with masonry techniques
- Collaborate with team members on site safety protocols and ensure adherence to construction standards
Skills
- Extensive experience in masonry work including concrete forming, rebar installation, tile laying, stucco application, and plastering
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate project execution
- Strong knowledge of hardscape design principles for outdoor projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and landscaping features
- Skilled in operating hand tools (trowels, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), heavy equipment (excavators or loaders), and scaffolding safely
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and material procurement
- Ability to perform concrete finishing tasks with attention to detail for smooth surfaces and durable results
- Experience in framing carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing systems, welding techniques, and restoration work is a plus
