Laborer/Operator Jobs in Delta Junction, AK at Delta Industrial Manufacturing, LLC
We are looking for a motivated, diligent individual with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative to work with us in a fast-moving manufacturing environment at Delta Industrial Manufacturing.
Job Duties:
- Perform manual tasks associated with the production of dry-mix shotcrete
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift (training provided)
- Inspect equipment for safe operating conditions on a daily basis
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
- Comply with OSHA rules and Company policies and Procedures
Requirements
- Be able to work under high pressure in a fast- paced environment, maintaining high quality product with minimum supervision
- Be well-organized, have strong initiative and sense of responsibility
- Be able to accurately select and load material to meet customer and production requirements.
- Be able to communicate effectively have the ability to read and understand material tags and work orders
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in inclement weather (its Alaska!)
- Ability to lift 70 pounds or greater to shoulder height, climb into and out of the forklift.
- NOTE: Constant exposure to dust and noise. PPE required.
