Job Summary
As aLaboratory Clerkfor ourNecropsyteam located inSenneville, you will mainly be responsible for performing support tasks related to the sampling of tissues. Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.
In this role, primaryresponsibilitiesinclude:
Prepare the required material needed to perform necropsies
Ensure the appropriate inventory of laboratory supplies
Shipping of pathology material (preparation of material, sending, and packing)
Ensure cleanliness of work areas and equipment
Key Elements
If you possess the followingqualifications, we will train you in the rest:
High school degree or equivalent
Good leadership skills
Good decision-making skills
Ability to work independently
Able to work physically
Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable
Role Specific Information:
Location: Senneville / Free parking / Free shuttle service from Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site
Salary: Starting at $16.25/hrs
Annual bonus based on performance plan
Schedule: Daytime Monday to Friday. Depending on the needs, you may have to do overtime on weekends
Permanent full-time position as of the hiring – minimum 37.5hrs per week
