Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various physical tasks across our work sites, supporting project completion, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to team success in a dynamic setting.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up tools and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by carrying out basic tasks as directed
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Maintain safety standards by following established protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear
- Ensure work sites are clean and free of hazards after completing tasks
- Operate basic machinery or tools if trained and certified
- Report any safety concerns or equipment issues to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation is preferred for site access
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory
