Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Kitchen helper. This role is essential in delivering exceptional food service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
- Prepare and execute menu items with speed, consistency, and care
- Support daily kitchen operations—prep ingredients, clean workstations, stock supplies, and assist cooks/servers to keep service running smoothly.
- Handle food with care, adhering to all food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, presenting, and plating dishes.
- Manage food inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Stock kitchen supplies and ingredients, ensuring proper storage and rotation

- Works well under pressure and stays calm during busy rushes

- Is available for evenings and weekends, with flexibility for late shifts
- Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a Thai or Asian restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and strong work ethic
- Valid Canada working permit
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Food preparation: 1 year (preferred)
