Job Responsibilities

Actively research and identify potential clients using various resources to generate leads, attending industry events, and networking to build a robust pipeline.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by regularly engaging to understand needs, address concerns, and provide excellent customer service, with the goal of repeat business and  well-versed in the features, benefits, and technical aspects of the equipment being sold and able to articulate how it addresses the unique needs of each client to build credibility/confidence in the product.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.

Keep track of sales metrics, performance, and progress towards targets, including managing leads, sales activity and opportunities in Salesforce.

Follow up on sales leads and schedule customer visits, seeking out new and large opportunities Regularly provide sales reports to

senior management

, detailing achievements and strategies for growth.

Participate in setting ambitious but achievable sales goals for both personal and company development.

Manage all phases of the sales cycle from cold calling, to creating quotes, to negotiating deals.

Work with internal stakeholders to coordinate and align deliverables for potential clients such as layouts and engineering reports, as well as suggesting improvements to company products and processes.

Assist at trade shows and other marketing events.

Stay

up-to-date

on solar industry news, changing regulations and incentives, and engage in webinars.

Travel up to 20% of the time throughout Canada and the United States Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

Welcoming degrees in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience in the solar industry.
