Journeyman Electrician – Commercial/Residential Work

Joseph Electric LLC is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. We primarily handle commercial projects including retail fit-outs, renovations, tenant improvements, lighting upgrades, and service work, with occasional residential projects mixed in.
We’re looking for someone who can work independently, stay productive on active job sites, and take pride in clean, professional installations.
This is a good fit for an electrician who wants steady work, less micromanaging, and the opportunity to grow into a foreman role.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
- Perform commercial renovation and new construction work
- Troubleshoot and solve problems in the field
- Coordinate with other trades and jobsite personnel
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Follow NEC and company standards at all times
Requirements
- 3+ years of electrical experience (commercial preferred)
- Strong knowledge of the NEC
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable and dependable
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred (Not Required)
- Journeyman license
- Experience leading helpers or running small projects
- Experience with commercial lighting and controls
