Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work across a variety of projects, ensuring that all tasks meet safety standards, specifications, and client expectations. As a key member of our crew, you will bring precision, craftsmanship, and efficiency to every project phase, from framing to finishing touches. Your expertise will help transform blueprints into tangible structures, contributing to the success of diverse construction and restoration initiatives.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks.
- Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform framing work including metal stud framing and wood framing for various building types.
- Installation of various siding materials
- Construct decks from framing to finish, utilizing composite materials
- Execute trim carpentry tasks such as molding, cabinetry installation, door hanging, and fixture mounting with precision.
- Conduct restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, and general building repairs.
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter or in a similar construction role with comprehensive site experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws),
- Skilled in various carpentry disciplines including framing (metal stud and wood), trim carpentry, roofing, siding, cabinetry installation, door hanging, flooring installation (tile and hardwood), and fixture mounting.
- Experience with general remodeling projects.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of safety standards relevant to construction sites; ability to adhere strictly to OSHA regulations.

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
