Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial/Cleaning Technician to maintain cleanliness and safety across a full size commercial facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning, custodial tasks, ensuring environments are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean and healthy workspace while developing skills in floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across assigned areas
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Perform custodial tasks for a commercial space, ensuring all areas meet sanitation standards
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, including deep cleaning, bathrooms, break areas, offices, and conference rooms.
- Maintain supplies and notify designated staff when inventory needs replenishing
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Be able to work in a time restrictive environment with a large workload.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision; must be punctual and reliable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work, including commercial or industrial cleaning
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks efficiently
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
FULL TIME: 2ND SHIFT: WEEKENDS OFF: 3 PM-11 PM (MON-FRI)
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
