Job Overview
We are looking to hire asap as one of our crew members left unexpectedly.
This crew follows a route through the middle of October to mow, trim, weed, and for a few homes remove weeds weekly.
There is potential to move into the fall and winter with us for holiday lighting installs, snow removal, fall cleanups, and other hardscape projects like retaining wall building and patio paver projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to cut grass and maintain turf areas efficiently.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, edging, and mulching to enhance landscape aesthetics.
- Identify different plant species and assess plant health to support horticultural practices.
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
- Use hand tools and small machinery like excavators for landscape improvements or hardscape projects.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance.
- Assist with snow plowing or snow removal during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
Experience
- Prior experience with landscape maintenance, lawn care, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and small machinery is advantageous.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety procedures related to pesticide management and equipment use.
- Enthusiasm for outdoor work, teamwork, and learning new skills in landscaping and land management.
Pay: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour
