The Justice Services Branch is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational support for the Attorney General and Public Safety Sector’s service transformation, including the provision of services to support sector program areas and stakeholders.  The Project & Service Design Division provides strategic leadership, project management coordination, and expertise through the management of business transformation projects and provides project management best practices support to all other Divisions.

To provide technology planning, business analysis, systems design and client support services. Provides technical and project management expertise for multiple, concurrent, medium sized projects from initiation to completion.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 2 years of*related experience; OR

Diploma in computer science or related field and 3 years*related experience; OR

Certificate in computer science or related field and 4 years*related experience; OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

*Recent, related experiencemust include:

Experience providing business analysis on high-risk projects.

Experience with business systems management.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:

Experience with business process mapping, requirements gathering, and design.

Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing.

Experience or training in Agile, Change Management, or Project Management.

Experience managing contracted resources.

Experience with the installation, configuration, maintenance and/or problem resolution of hardware, software, operating systems and/or network components.

Remote work is allowed, this position can work up to full time from their home in British Columbia subject to an approved telework agreement. The locations listed above are to assist applicants in searching for this opportunity and are not a complete list of locations.
