Friedges Landscaping, Inc. has been in business for over 50 years. We complete all types of commercial and residential landscaping services, which has grown us into one of the largest landscaping companies in Minnesota.
We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing irrigation systems and new installations if interested to ensure the proper distribution of water to turf and plantings.
Duties
– Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems
-Able to work independently and with others if needed
– Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation systems for leaks, clogs, or other issues
– Adjust sprinkler heads to ensure proper coverage
– Program and set irrigation timers
– Monitor water usage and make adjustments as needed
– Perform routine maintenance on irrigation equipment
– Collaborate with landscaping team to design and implement irrigation plans
– Operate power tools and hand tools to complete tasks
-Perform Irrigation start up and winterizations
Qualifications
– Previous experience in landscape maintenance or irrigation systems preferred
– Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
– Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in irrigation work
– Ability to dig, build, and install irrigation components
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
-PLT is a plus
-CDL is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
