Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Irrigation Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and optimizing irrigation systems for our customers. Ideal candidates enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems
- Perform system start-ups, winterizations, and routine maintenance
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues with controllers, valves, and wiring
- Adjust sprinkler heads and optimize system efficiency
- Communicate clearly with customers about services and recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records and job notes
- Ensure tools, equipment, and company vehicles are properly maintained
Qualifications
- Prior irrigation or landscaping experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, or mechanical troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
