Iron Crew Labourer
Reporting to: Foreperson
Location: Ottawa and surrounding area

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting with the installation and erection of structural iron and steel for buildings, bridges, and other structures
Unloading and positioning steel components for assembly and installation
Using hand and power tools to align, bolt, weld, and rivet iron and steel structures
Assisting in the assembly and installation of steel girders, columns, and other structural components
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment
Performing other duties as assigned by the crew leader or supervisor
Requirements:
1 to 3 years of experience in ironwork or assisting ironworkers
Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 to 75 lbs on a regular basis
Valid driver’s license and own mode of transportation required
Work in all weather conditions
