As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager enthusiastic experiencedInventory Plannerto join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing environment.

The Inventory Planner role is primarily responsible for overseeing the accurate tracking, forecasting, and reporting of inventory levels, ensuring the availability of materials for uninterrupted production, and minimizing overstock situations.

This position reports to the Inventory Systems Manager.

What you will be doing:

Work order management through MRP for FGS and LCC; Create work orders, complying with all methods, systems, and processes, with full communication, to ensure efficient and effective operations of scheduling activities.

Perform transfers to external warehouses.

Receiving tags and processing finished goods Inventory.

Material & labour allocations; Includes: discrepancy investigation, transfers/adjustments & communication with all applicable Departments.

Perform ECN changes, under the guidance of Program Managers.

Perform inventory audits and cycle counts, as requested by the Supervisor.

Perform inventory checks and provide prompt responses, as requested by CS/Sales.

Inventory variance (Part cannot be located) – include finding FG, correct SYSRPO received, Adjustment

Support operations – Fix variance between SFC issued & Active usage / Substitute mat’l use

Monitor and respond to un-forecasted changes affecting inventory levels and service levels.

Continuously assess and improve inventory control procedures, including the implementation of best practices in inventory management.

Participate in continuous improvement projects/tasks to achieve cost reduction goals.

Adherence to all 5S Workplace protocols.

Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels using inventory management software to prevent overstocking and understocking.

Maintain KPIs as described by management.

Working in compliance with the current Ontario Safety Legislation and Active’s safety program.

Other duties and responsibilities as required.

What you bring along:

University or College degree /diploma in supply chain management or related field

Minimum 5 years’ experience in inventory management or similar discipline

Strong knowledge of ERP, Syspro an asset

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

Strong attention to detail and follow-through and the ability to work independently

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
