Purpose of Role: The Inventory Analyst is responsible for proactively managing our inventory at a national level and to ensure that the right parts are available when needed. They will be responsible for the review, analysis, development, and implementation of inventory management strategies set forth by the Inventory Supervisor. Ultimately, this position will help reduce obsolescence, while supporting the supply chain and enabling the sales staff with the ability to better serve the needs of our customer.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Analyze and organize the current and future state of inventory by gathering data from current systems, warehouses, customer after-market requirements and other forecasts.
Internal Communication: Interface between sales, product management, and operations on all inventory-related matters, including when inventory is low and at risk for customer demand fulfillment
Reporting: Prepare and present inventory reports and SIOP/S&OP presentations to Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Product Management teams
System Maintenance: Strategic and ongoing maintenance of our inventory system, taking into account changes in costs, lead times, usage and activity.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
2-5 years of supply chain and inventory management experience
ASCM, CPIM, APICS or certification
Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel are required.
