The opportunity

The Gildan Internship Program 2024 offers students the opportunity to participate in stimulating projects and gain valuable experience that will help them transition to the workplace. Our summer internship program will take place from May 13th to August 16th, 2024. As a Corporate Accounting Intern, you will support the Corporate Accounting team with the preparation of monthly deliverables, with audit procedures, assist in prepare flowcharts and other ad-hoc projects.

The role

Assist in the preparation of the FY2024 audit procedures, such as compiling and testing key IT reports, preparing flowcharts, testing SOX controls and other miscellaneous projects within the Corporate SOX Compliance group.

Support in the month-end/quarter-end reporting process and prepare deliverables -such as Accounting Fees Memo.

What you bring to the role

Knowledge & Professional

Experience

Bachelor in finance related fields (Accounting, Commerce, Business Management, etc).

Attributes

Relevant course work/projects/experience in the field of interest, or relevant leadership or community involvement experience.

This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French – mainly English.
