Job Summary
The Inspector Packer ensures our products meet quality standards and are properly packed. The position also assists the Machine Operator with various tasks and maintains a clean, safe work area.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect products and report defects immediately
- Pack products per instructions
- Assist with box/tote preparation, labeling, scrap disposal, and operating an inline grinder
- Follow GMPs, safety guidelines, and perform other assigned tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math, reading, writing, and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, positive, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience
- Smartphone for timekeeping
- Ability to read tape measures (standard/metric)
- Basic computer skills
Physical Demands
- Perform manual labor (lifting, carrying, bending, reaching)
- Stand for a 12-hour shift; use hands/fingers for object handling
- Strong hand‑eye coordination; lift 50 lbs. regularly; repetitive tasks; clear vision for inspection
Working Conditions
- Exposure to loud noise (hearing protection required)
- Seasonal temperature changes
- PPE required for certain tasks
- Safety toe footwear is required on the production floor.
- Food-grade environment requiring hygiene standards
- Work near forklifts
