Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Control Panel Assembly and Wiring Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling Industrial Control Panels including but not limited to measuring, drilling and tapping, mounting, wiring, and testing control panels used in industrial automation systems. Your expertise will ensure that each control panel meets UL508 quality standards and electrical safety requirements. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work and develop your technical skills, and contribute to the production of reliable control solutions for diverse industrial applications.

Work Experience:
A minimum of (2) years professional work experience in an electrical assembly working environment is required; ability to assemble electrical components, measure-cut-strip and crimp wires, using a variety of tools and equipment, ability to review the design, drawing and check completeness of electronics enclosures and consoles or has worked extensively in a similar position is required.
Duties
- Assemble electrical control panels according to schematics, technical drawings, using hand and power tools.
- Wire components such as relays, push buttons, contactors, terminal blocks, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to UL508 standards.
- Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately connect electrical components and ensure proper functionality.
- Use mechanical knowledge to install panels into enclosures, mount components securely, and perform drilling and tapping as needed.
- Conduct electrical testing using multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to verify wiring integrity and troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical wiring and working with schematics.
- Salary based on experience. 1-2 years of control panel experience required.
- Familiarity with UL 508 standards a huge plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools to drill and tap required.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting with ohmmeters and understanding electrical wiring principles required.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong mechanical skills to ensure precise assembly and wiring of control panels. Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour
