We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Hunting Guide to take on a leadership/managerial role within our outfitting operation. This position is ideal for someone who not only excels in guiding hunts but also has the ability to oversee operations, manage a team, and ensure top-tier client experiences.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining safety standards, coordinating guides, and delivering exceptional hunting adventures.
Key Responsibilities:Guiding & Client Experience
- Lead guided hunts while ensuring safety, ethics, and compliance with all regulations
- Deliver high-quality, personalized experiences for clients
- Educate clients on hunting techniques, firearm safety, and conservation practices
Team Leadership & Management
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior guides and staff
- Create schedules and assign guides to trips
- Ensure team adherence to safety protocols and company standards
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
Operations & Planning
- Oversee day-to-day hunting operations and logistics
- Scout hunting areas and monitor wildlife activity
- Coordinate equipment, transportation, and camp readiness
- Ensure all licenses, permits, and documentation are in order
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce strict safety procedures and risk management practices
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal hunting laws
- Respond effectively to emergencies in the field
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a professional hunting guide
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of hunting techniques, wildlife behavior, and terrain
- Valid hunting licenses and firearm certifications
- First Aid/CPR certification required (Wilderness First Aid is a plus)
