Position Summary

RAVA GROUP is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR and administrative operations for both exempt and non-exempt employees. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in employee relations, full-cycle recruitment, HR compliance, investigations, onboarding, and performance management. This role serves as a trusted partner to managers and employees while ensuring HR policies, procedures, and employment practices are consistently applied.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Human Resources Operations

  • Manage daily HR activities for exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Administer HR policies, procedures, and employee programs.
  • Assist with benefits administration, employee leave programs, and staff changes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Conduct workplace investigations involving employee complaints, policy violations, and misconduct.
  • Document findings, prepare investigation summaries, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Partner with leadership to resolve employee concerns and foster a positive work environment.
  • Support performance management processes, corrective actions, and disciplinary procedures.

Full-Cycle Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from requisition through onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies.
  • Create and post job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
  • Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, reference checks, background checks, and offer processes.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate and onboarding experience.

Onboarding & Employee Development

  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
  • Coordinate training initiatives and employee development programs.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and employee integration.
  • Support career development and succession planning efforts.

Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations, company policies, and best practices.
  • Support workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and leave administration.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and employment records.

QualificationsRequired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting both exempt and non-exempt workforces.
  • Proven experience conducting employee relations investigations and managing sensitive workplace issues.
  • Strong full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition experience.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and related regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS) INDEED
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Preferred

  • Experience in multi-site or growing organizations.
  • Bilingual abilities a must.
