As our new HR Administrator , you will provide hands-on support to the People Operations teams across Canada and the U.S., assisting with a variety of HR activities and initiatives, including:
This is a 4-month fixed-term contract from May to September, with the potential for a permanent position.
Specific responsibilities will include:

Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding processes for Canadian and U.S. employees, ensuring a smooth and positive experience

Assisting with HR data entry, reporting, and system updates (Workday preferred) to maintain accurate and organized employee records

Assist with benefits administration to ensure all updates and changes are processed accurately and in a timely manner .

Helping the teams with file management and records cleanup, ensuring compliance and easy access to key documentation

Providing administrative support for acquisition integrations, helping to ensure a smooth onboarding and alignment process for new teams

Contributing to ad-hoc HR projects and operational initiatives to support the People Operations function

The salary range for this position is $ 26-$28 hourly. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled or new grad in a Human Resources, Business Administration, or related program at a recognized post-secondary institution

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Comfortable working with cross-border HR processes (Canada & U.S.)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday) is an asset
