Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment in guest apartments and public areas of Meadowvale Apartment Hotel. This role plays a key part in ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize, and restock guest apartments and bathrooms daily or as scheduled.

• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries.

• Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish furniture and fixtures.

• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

• Clean public areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairways, and laundry rooms.

• Follow hotel safety and hygiene standards and procedures.

• Handle guests’ belongings respectfully and report lost and found items.

• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, soap, and tissues in rooms.

• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.

• Assist with laundry duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good physical stamina; ability to stand, bend, lift, and move items for extended periods.

• Friendly and professional demeanor.

Work Conditions:

• Must be available to work on weekends and holidays as required.

• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures
